Everything Is Alive

Everything Is Alive is a poetry collection on my active search of my borders' dissolution as a human being, closer than I thought to bromeliads, ants and lichens. I translated it myself to English from my Spanish self-published chapbook Todo está vivo.

These poems go from experiences with depression and anxiety to queer ecology and particle physics as a philosophy of connection with every(living)thing. Here you will find abundant direct quotes and references to theorists, poets and novelists that helped me unknowingly through the process.

I pansy between possible
ways
to stop not knowing
some things.
So much energy and so poorly
used, clumsy,
not knowing what to do
of herself.

And that’s why in fact

I’m not
