Dear Paul,

there is no way you will ever read this, but I felt the need to write to you; shut it and listen.

Dear Paul is an epistolary zine: the letter I would like to send Paul Gauguin to call him into account for his rampant misogyny and colonialism. He did not just leave his wife and five children to go to Tahiti; he then bought a thirteen-year-old girl to make her his wife. No more laudatory exhibitions that skip over the real life of these geniuses.
